Upgrade from Dr.Web anti-virus 6.0 to Dr.Web 7.0
If the Dr.Web anti-virus 6.0 isalready installed on your computer, you can upgrade to the new version as follows.

Download the Dr.Web 7.0 distribution file from Doctor Web's site at download.drweb.com
Launch drweb-700-win-space.exe. In the subsequent window (Fig. 13) choose the installation language and press OК.

The installation wizard will prompt you to remove the old version of the anti-virus (Fig. 14). Press OК.

Disable anti-virus self-protection (Fig. 15): enter the CAPTCHA code and click Disable self-protection .

After you have uninstalled the previous version of the anti-virus, you will be prompted to restart the system. Press Yes.
After the system restart, the installation process will start automatically. Press Next in the Installation Wizard window.
Read the license agreement (Fig. 16), check the I accept the license agreement terms box and click Next.

On the next step (Fig. 17) you need to confirm that no other anti-virus is installed on the computer. Check the I confirm that no other anti-virus software is installed on this computer box. Press Next.

If you want to install Dr.Web Firewall, in the subsequent window check the Install Dr.Web Firewall checkbox (Fig. 18).

Now you need to confirm (Fig. 19) that no other firewall accept the Windows Firewall is installed on your PC. Check the I confirm that that no other firewall is installed on this computer. Press Next.
Note.If another firewall is installed on the computer, press Cancel to abort the installation. Remove the firewall and start installation of Dr.Web 7.0 again.

Now you need to register a Dr.Web key file (Fig. 23). You can do this in three ways (select the appropriate option and click Next):
1) Specify the path to an available valid key file. In this case a dialogue window will appear. Navigate to the drweb32.key file. Choose this option if you already have a key file.
2) Receive a key file during installation. Use this option if you have previously purchased a serial number or if you want to use a demo key file.
а) The window will appear after the step 13 (Fig. 20). If you need a demo key, check the corresponding checkbox. If you have a serial number, check the corresponding checkbox and enter the serial number in the corresponding fields. Press Next.

b) The serial number will be verified and you will be prompted to enter your user information (Fig. 21). When you are finished, click Next.

c) Once you have submitted your personal information, a window will open in which you will be given basic information about the license and the user (Fig. 22). Click Finish.

3) Receive key file later. Select this option if you decided to install the anti-virus and purchase a key file later.

Select an installation type (Fig. 24). It is recommended to use a default installation, since it provides the most efficient anti-virus configuration. Once you've selected the installation type, press Next.

Click Install.
When the installation is completed, the express system scan will be started automatically (Fig. 25). If you don't want to scan the system, you can press Stop and close the window.

A window informing you that the installation has been completed successfully will appear (Fig. 26). If necessary, you can view the wizard-generated report. Check the Show Windows Installer log checkbox. Click Finish.
Note. You will need to restart the system after installation.
