How do I renew my Dr.Web license with a renewal discount?
To renew a Dr.Web license and to receive a renewal discount you should have a subscription for the Dr.Web antivirus for at lest 6 months. A renewal discount is given for one-year and two-year licenses only.

To renew a license for Dr.Web I should send a key file through a renewal web-form. Where do I find this key file?
Dr.Web key file is a special file of the antivirus which specifies what components are licensed to a user and for what term. Being installed, the key file has a .key extension and resides in the Dr.Web installation directory (in MS Windows it is usually C:\Program Files\DrWeb\***.key).

If you are a user of Dr.Web personal license, chose the license term you want to renew – either 1-year or 2-year renewal in Dr.Web online store. Pay for the license renewal. Your serial number will be sent to you via e-mail. Register your serial number and immediately receive the Dr.Web key file – the renewal is then complete!
- If you are a user of Dr.Web business license, complete the application web-form at
http://buy.drweb.com/renew/. Specify the license term you wish to renew. After the key file validity is checked, you will receive an e-mail message with a discount coupon, which should be activated in the Dr.Web online store at http://estore.drweb.com.
IMPORTANT! A renewal discount is given for one- and two-year licenses only. To renew a license you should send at least 6-month Dr.Web key file.

My license for Dr.Web expires in a few days. Should I renew it beforehand or exactly on the day it expires?
You should pay for renewal in advance, but the serial number can be activated any day, even if your current license for Dr.Web did not expire — the Dr.Web registration utility will automatically add the days left till the current key file expiration term.

I wanted to purchase a two-year renewal and have sent my Dr.Web key file via the renewal web-form at http://buy.drweb.com/renew/. I have received an e-mail message with a discount coupon. But when I activated this coupon in the Dr.Web online store I found, that the discount is not 30%, but 18,75%. Why?
The price of a two year license already has a renewal discount. A discount of 30% is given for a one-year license renewal. For two years the discount is 18,75%.

If you are not a Dr.Web returning customer but have purchased Dr.Web renewal license, 100 days will be deducted from the term of your serial number — in case of a one-year renewal, you will receive a license for just 265 days, in case of a two-year renewal — for 630 days only.
